To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Janis Joplin’s Pearl, the album will be made available as a picture disc for the very first time. This exclusive for RSD Drops features the iconic cover portrait lensed by Barry Feinstein.

Pearl showcased some of Janis’ most familiar and best-loved performances including “Cry Baby,” her cover of Kris Kristofferson’s “Me and Bobby McGee,” and the off-the-cuff, a cappella “Mercedes Benz,” the last song she ever recorded.
